John Rosatti Classic Car – Cool Ride of the Month
As a popular name in the business of mega luxury yachting across the world, John Rosatti’s love for cars is no less known. Here too, he has made his mark. In his collection of classic cars, his indomitable desire for luxury and speed has forced him to acquire the trade and establish classic cars both for the purposes of sports and pleasure as well. The valuable cars owned by John are remarkably known for their speed as well as luxury. John Rosatti’s luxury yachts have gained popularity as has his collection of classic cars; one of his classic cars, a Willy’s Coup, was recognized by for it’s excellence by Budnik Wheels.
Clayton’s Custom Cars built this Willy’s originally for Gary Smith and was a yellow show stopper. After John Rosatti purchased it, he dismantled the coup for repainting. He used PPG Automotive Finishes in black and dressed it out with shooting Harlequin flames. The interior was done up in custom black leather and spice, and Augi’s Artworks’ details air brushed. John took great care of this classic car when it came to choosing parts and and it’s beautiful finish.
The polished aluminum wheels it rolls on are the Budnik Gasser series. On the front, they are the 17×7 and on the rear, 17×15. Polished Baer double-piston brakes stop the Willy, and it remains in control through a system of polished rear and front coil over suspension.
Protruding through the hood is a bowler hat, and it gives a hint of what is underneath; a 667ci Hemi V8 polished aluminum Keith Black, sporting a crankshaft from Sonny Bryant, CompCams’ custom ground cam, rods from Childs & Albert, connected to 7.5 compression pistons of Ross. All Indy polished 16 spark plug sit on the block, 16 injector cylinder heads, that’s what the blower hat contains.
The hat is bolted to the top of a polished BDS system. A BDS fuel system feeds this entire assembly through pump gas and is helped along by a nitrous when it wants just that much extra kick. A 3500 stall and a PTC TH400 transmission are behind the massive power house. John Rosatti spared no expense in choosing the best in choosing a classic car restoration shop.
The classic car, a regenerated top fuel motor packed inside a neatly menacing looking Willy’s coup, was chosen as “Cool Ride of the Month” by Budnik Wheels.
